Whilst we would love to say that our hangi are cooked in a hole in the
ground, we can't. But we can say that our method of hangi cooking will provide you with the most authentic flavors,
taste and textures. Whilst we can't let you know all the details of how we do it, we can say that we cook above ground
in a custom made hangi cooker and use our own blend of seasonings to give the food that traditional hangi taste. And
regardless of the hangi menu chosen you can be assured that all these menus have been upsized to provide a generous
potion for the heartiest of eaters.

For our DIY Spitroasts we prepare and cook all the hot foods at our premises. We then package these in foil
trays and into insulated boxes. All cold foods are packed into presentable disposable bowls and platters and
packed into a returnable insulated box with the appropriate condiments and our napkins.

We
make all our own salads fresh for your event, all our salads are provided packaged
into convenient ‘clamshell’ type containers that can be
used to serve the salad in – or even better transfer it to a nice bowl
of your own. All our salads are designed to be eaten on the day of purchase,
but if kept chilled they will be happy in the fridge for another day.
We recommend a total of between 175 grams and 325 grams of salad per person
as part of a meal. The actual amount you need will depend on whether it’s
a lunch or a dinner and of course the other food that you have available too – not
to mention the eating preferences of your guests.
