Cooking the Hangi
Whilst we would love to say that our hangi are cooked in a hole in the ground, we can't. But we can say that our method of hangi cooking will provide you with the most authentic flavors, taste and textures. Whilst we can't let you know all the details of how we do it, we can say that we cook above ground in a custom made hangi cooker and use our own blend of seasonings to give the food that traditional hangi taste. And regardless of the hangi menu chosen you can be assured that all these menus have been upsized to provide a generous potion for the heartiest of eaters.

We provide everything from a good range of drinks through to the ice and glassware. Our team will serve your guests from the bar, Our team will also collect glassware, restock bar and clear glassware and emptys from guest tables.

Your Bar

We can provide bar staff for you to serve (not sell) your own beverages for $30 per hour minimum 4 hours.

  • We can hire you all your glassware and bar equipment.

  • We can arrange a chiller for onsite, or provide you with ice and ice boxes.
  • We can dispose of rubbish for you.

Our innovative table buffets bring the food to you! Just as the name suggests we bring a selection of all the menu items to every table on white platters for guests to help themselves. Every table is provided with the same selection of food as chosen by you, as well as plates, cutlery, serving platters and utensils.

All our table buffet menus are priced inclusive of GST and service staff, crockery and cutlery etc

On site kitchen and cooking facilities are required for these menus. We are happy to quote on hiring in facilities if required.

Plated Meals

All of our main meals are good-sized meals, which are designed to be part of a 3-course menu. Let us know early on if you are looking for a main course only and we can upsize or add side dishes on to the tables for you.

All for one
All guests receive the same meal; this is the most cost effective service type and allows us to offer the best value for money.

Alternate Drop
The alternate drop style of service is the preferred style of service for larger groups. Every second guest receives one option and every other guest receives the other option. Guests are welcome to swap amongst themselves.

By using this style of service we are able to offer the best price to you and still have variety for your guests.

Set menu
For set menus each guest gets to select their preferred meal from the menu that the organiser has chosen.

This offers the ‘best’ level of service to guests; please note that the cost increases with the number of choices available for each course.

We make all our own salads fresh for your event, all our salads are provided packaged into convenient ‘clamshell’ type containers that can be used to serve the salad in – or even better transfer it to a nice bowl of your own. All our salads are designed to be eaten on the day of purchase, but if kept chilled they will be happy in the fridge for another day.

We recommend a total of between 175 grams and 325 grams of salad per person as part of a meal. The actual amount you need will depend on whether it’s a lunch or a dinner and of course the other food that you have available too – not to mention the eating preferences of your guests.
