Omarino Wine Park
This award-winning vineyard creates a picture perfect setting for their newly built function room situated in central Harewood.
The new function room is a year round, modern venue with a vineyard outlook. Whether it's a function for 20 or 200, facilities are such that your event can be as personable or corporate as you require.
Other facilities include a beautiful outdoor pergola area, ideal for pre-event drinks or a wine tasting, a petanque court and convenient car parking for your guests.
Perfect for any style of function, Kiwi Cuisine can provide canapés amongst the vines and an exquisite fresh evening meal and desserts to end the perfect evening.
The grounds, twenty acres of lush grape vines and mature gardens, are a lovely setting for wedding photos and is all within close proximity to many other beautiful locations your wedding photographer might want to whisk you away to.
Darjon
Kiwi Cuisine are proud to bring you our newest addition to our family - Darjon Vineyard. Darjon is the vineyard wedding you dreamed of - with beautiful gardens and a traditional winery restaurant setting, which will create as a result, a unique, personal and very memorable event.
Have your ceremony among the vines - with many opportunities for photos with a true Canterbury backdrop.
Local wines picked to suit your menu and impeccable service from Darjons friendly professional wine team, and sumptuous feasts provided by Kiwi Cuisine.
Westhaven Gardens
Westhaven’s romantic, all-weather wedding chapel is built of latticework and shade cloth, which is overlaid with corrugated perspex on the roof. The interior is dry and peaceful while allowing views out to the garden. "It’s like getting married in a garden but with protection from the weather" In the garden there are two gazebos and a rose pavilion. The largest gazebo, beside the chapel, can be used as a musicians’ shelter or to serve drinks from. Across the stream the rose pavilion offers a quieter area for photos or as a setting for an outdoor wedding.
Westhaven’s 1950s School Room is available for hire for seated functions of up to 40 people or 60+ for a smorgasbord.

The Ark

The Ark is a truly awe-inspiring site to see. A magnificent ‘ship’ built overlooking the city of Christchurch. All catering on board the Ark is provided by Kiwi Cuisine, so you can rest assured that you will have not only a unique venue but also receive great food and superb service. Made up of three levels, all open plan, each room has it's own unique feel – from the chapel at top to the ballroom on the lower deck. The Ark is ideal for 50-120 people.

Hampton Lea Gardens
Nestled in the Canterbury country side, just 20 minutes drive south of Christchurch. Beautifully landscaped, Hampton Lea Gardens is the perfect setting for your wedding day. Large established trees and sprawling manicured lawns surround a sculptured pond. Giant schist stepping stones float above the waterfall and an ornate silver archway on the deck extends over the water, giving you a beautiful setting for your ceremony. Or if you prefer, make use of the rustic woolshed, with its sparkling chandeliers, silk drapes and red carpet.
Or use our grounds as a marquee reception site for a fully serviced meal or Cocktails and canapés through out the night.
Whether you're after a picturesque outdoor wedding, or a rustic indoor ceremony, a stylish High Tea or a site for your reception marquee, Hampton Lea Gardens caters superbly to you and your guests needs.

The Tipapa Woolshed
Cradled in the rolling hills of North Canterbury is Tipapa, an oasis of privacy surrounded by 500 acres of its own land and park like grounds. The Woolshed at Tipapa has been meticulously restored to its former and character-filled glory. The atmosphere of a working woolshed pervades every plank, and the extensive shearers stencilling on the walls tells a fascinating and historic story.
The Woolshed is now ready to be shared as a very special events centre with approximately 170 sq metres of floor space, music system, fully heated, secluded courtyard, adjacent gallery with private garden, Parking is plentiful yet out of sight of The Woolshed and the surrounding area.
Mount Vernon Lodge
At Mount Vernon Lodge, you can have an unforgettable ceremony, a custom-designed reception, and stylish accommodation for you and your guests, all within the beautiful surroundings of our estate. And the next day, you’ll have time to catch up with old friends, and enjoy the scenery.
You can hold everything onsite, from your ceremony to your photographs to your reception to your accommodation.
Mount Vernon’s sweeping lawns, with their stunning views over Akaroa Harbour, offer the perfect setting in which to make your vows. Of course, they also provide an ideal backdrop for your photographs, so there’s no need to leave your guests behind – friends and family can enjoy drinks and canapes, wander around the grounds, or even retreat to their own rooms if they so desire, until it’s time for the day’s proceedings to continue.
Cashmere Presbyterian Centre
One of our newest venues, The facilities at Cashmere Hills Presbyterian Centre were recently extensively renovated providing an internal link from the Church to the Lounge which can seat up to 100 people.This venue is ideal for Community & Business meetings along with Weddings, Receptions and Conferences.

Ohoka School Community Hall
The newly opened Ohoka School Community Hall is a fantastic venue for conference & function requirements in North Canterbury. The hall is 20 minutes from from the City Centre and 30 minutes from Christchurch International Airport. There is a purpose built carpark with bus turning area. The Hall can accomodate 500 people & chairs or 350 seated at round tables. For availability please see there website in the first instance.
